You're able to control two players at the same time in upcoming Pro Evolution Soccer 2012, Konami have announced. It's done through a system called "Teammate Control".
"The addition of Teammate Control is something we have been working on for a while now, and we are delighted that it will make its debut in PES 2012," John Murphy says in a press statement.
The system sounds nice, but also quite tricky. To take control of the other team member, you move the right stick towards that player to activate him. If you're using the Manual mode, you can then control him while dribbling with your original player.
"The ability to manually control a second player while simultaneously running with the ball opens all kinds of attacking options," Murphy says and we trust him - I expect to lose in even more spectacular ways online this time around!
Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 is out this fall.
