Entertainment research analysts DFC have declared the future of Mircosoft's entire gaming network is in jeopardy after the disasterous unveiling of the Xbox One in the run up to this year's E3.

In their Forecasts for the Video Games Market report, DFC states: "Microsoft's overall strategy for entertainment devices is deeply flawed," and that they intend to "further lower" their Xbox One sales predictions as opposed to a planned increase in predicted sales figures for Sony's PS4.

DFC's David Cole said: "So far this has not had a major negative impact on the Xbox business but that is likely to change with the Xbox One launch. Right now the entire future of Microsoft's consumer entertainment business is in question and that is likely to have a major impact on the game industry."
