Recent activity and file changes have led people to believe that titles are moving over from Origin exclusivity.

Those who enjoy EA games on PC will know that you need Origin to run them, but that might be about to change, as Twitter user RobotBrush has posted a screenshot of a test app in Origin, with the file name pointing to games running via Steam instead.

However, the screenshot also shows Origin in the same file name, so it might still need Origin to operate, like playing Rainbow Six: Siege via Steam and also Uplay, for instance.

This points to EA testing something for Steam integration, and as screenshotted and shared by TheNerdMag, EA's The Saboteur has a SteamDB entry showing someone playing it on Steam between October 20 and 21.

As you can see here, Dragon Age II also received a Steam package update last week, and all this activity adds fuel to the fire that we'll be seeing EA games on Steam sooner rather than later.
