Croteam co-founder Alen Ladavac has revealed via LinkedIn that he's joining Google's Stadia team to work as an engineering manager, leaving the studio that has worked on projects like Serious Sam.

He adds that The Talos Principle is the project "dearest to my heart", thanking his colleagues for all their work at Croteam. He'll be heading to Google's Munich site, and here's what he had to say about Stadia's ambitions of cloud gaming:

"What was once deemed impossible, now is the reality - and I'm grateful for a chance to contribute to this landmark undertaking."

Aside from Serious Sam (of which there are many games) and The Talos Principle, other titles from Croteam include Football Glory and Save the Earth, both of which came before the year 2000.

Are you a Croteam fan?
