Back in January of 2019 former Gearbox lawyer Wade Callender accused CEO Randy Pitchford of misusing company funds to give himself a secret bonus, as well as other allegations of inappropriate behaviour, but Business Insider now reports that a court has dismissed this lawsuit.
This was dismissed on October 2, according to the report, and the statement on the matter says disagreements have been resolved. A confidentiality agreement is also included, with neither side talking further about the case.
"Upon review of all the evidence in the case, it was of the opinion of counsel that the evidence exonerated Randy Pitchford from the allegations against him; all misunderstandings between the parties have been corrected, and apologies were exchanged. Because the parties are mutually bound by confidentiality, no additional statements will be forthcoming," the statement reads.
