Duck Hunt and Time Crisis were great examples of how fun light gun games can be, but we can't forget The House of the Dead from 1996, along with its sequel from 1998. If you're missing these, then we have good news regarding these two classics, as Forever Entertainment has announced on Twitter that they're coming back and will get the full remake treatment.

"We confirm the signing of the agreement regarding remakes of the games "The House of the Dead" and "The House of the Dead 2". No platforms or release dates have been confirmed, and unfortunately we can't say anything more for now. Please keep fingers crossed for us and and follow our official channels," the announcement reads.

If the name Forever Entertainment sounds familiar, it's because they're developing Panzer Dragoon: Remake, which was announced at E3 in June. No other details are known and it hasn't been confirmed if a light gun will be released alongside the game as well, so we'll just have to wait for more information.

Have you played these games before?
