While the very expensive RTX series isn't for all, potential buyers of the cheaper GTX 16 series has been left out of the recent Super updates to Nvidia cards - until now.

According to inside sources that have spoken with Videocartz, the card is coming, and in the case of Asus, in at least three different versions.

The new Super versions will have GDDR6 memory clocked at RTX speeds, 14 Gbps, making it even faster than the GTX 1660 TI. That is not only an upgrade from GDDR5 but also a massive step up from a memory speed of 8 Gbps and most likely a core increase as well.

This bodes well for the those of us who have a more reasonable budget for PC hardware - but more interesting is what sort of performance the new Super cards will give us.

If the same approach is used as with the RTX series, the prices on the super-version should be the same as the current non-super cards.
