Google Play Pass set to launch in the US this week

The Google Play Store subscription service Google Play Pass goes live in the US this week.

Without much fanfare, Google Play Store will release a subscription service, just like Apple Arcade that released last week. The service will boast hundreds of games and apps that can be used with no ads or IAPs for $4.99 (and can be shared with up to total 6 family members). But for now, this service will only be available in the US until further announcement.

There are some big names like Limbo, Monument Valley 2, Reigns: Game of Thrones, Star Wars: KOTOR, Stardew, and Terraria in the mix to name a few. For more information regarding the service, you can visit the site here, or you can see some of the games here (via Pocketgamer):
