SNK hasn't been shy when it comes to crossovers and we've seen their characters show up in games from companies like Capcom, Nintendo, Koei Tecmo and Bandai Namco. But now, the most unexpected collaboration from the company so far has been revealed... We're talking about SNK and NASA.

Yup, that's the NASA, the American space agency. This was revealed on Twitter. Unfortunately, it's not for a game and the cause is almost just as surprising as these two companies working together. They are making a jacket, based on the Metal Slug series.

It has the official NASA logo as well as a beautiful quote from Neil Armstrong on the front, while the back of the jacket has plenty of aliens from Metal Slug as well as the somewhat cryptic sentence "Maybe close encounters of the Mars people - we are all extra-terrestrial" printed.

The jacket will be available for sale "soon" and if you need one despite its obvious ugliness (we won't blame you, it is SNK and NASA after all, although we still don't know how it happened), you'll be best trying your luck in Japan.
