Celeste developer Matt Thorson used to create under the name Matt Makes Games Inc., but now they've revealed a new website for a brand called Extremely OK Games, which is a new company for games with its own logo and dedicated team.

"Meet our new game studio! Extremely OK Games, or EXOK for short, is the new home for our creative projects. The success of Celeste has allowed us to set up a lot of things that will make our work better, faster, easier, and more fun," the post reads, before introducing the team that's helping Thorson.

This means that Matt Makes Games Inc. is no more, with future work coming from EXOK now, which has a new project underway codenamed EXOK1. No details are provided other than that, as the studio is in "a very exploratory phase of development", but they did have news on Celeste to share.

This is because Chapter 9: Farewell is landing on September 9 for all players to enjoy at no added cost, providing one last goodbye, featuring over 100 new levels, over 40 minutes of new music from Lena Raine, fresh mechanics, returning faces, and more.

"Finding the right way to send off the characters and world of Celeste was especially difficult for us, but we're very excited about what this chapter became."

Thorson ends by saying that the Limited Run physical Celeste release is entering production now that Chapter 9 is done.

What can this future project be?
