Bang & Olufsen is bringing us their new, affordable soundbar called Beosound Stage, utilising a retro perspective in the design while also being made differently on the technical side, using three tweeters, four full-range drivers, and four woofers, while all drivers are kept small in size to allow them to fit into the cabinet.

All 11 drivers have their own class-D amplifiers, each delivering 50 watts of power to the ¾" tweeters, 1.5" full-range drivers (used for midrange), and the 4" woofers. It has been made to completely avoid the need for a subwoofer in the system too.

The features list is long, including AirPlay 2, Dolby Atmos, Wifi and Ethernet, HDMI and 4K passthrough, as well as RCA and minijack, along with Chromecast, Bluetooth, Qplay, and BeoLink Multiroom.

You can pre-order the product here, where you can also see the design made by NORM Architects, the framework being made from Aluminum and (smoked) oak or bronze colured/toned aluminum, including the integrated control panel. The cover of the speakers doesn't touch the frame either, to create a lighter overall impression.

The price is €1,500 Euro for the aluminum versions, while the oak version is €2,250, and we can expect it this autumn.
