The quiet before the E3 storm.

To be honest, the headline above is a little misleading, because today has seen its own little storm emerge after Microsoft moved to clarify their position on some key Xbox One related issues in the run up to E3. Last night they released details regarding how the always-on function would work, and what it would mean to gamers. They also took the time to explain how Kinect will work with the Xbox One, and what their stance on trade-ins will be.

Last night, during Konami's rather slimline pre-E3 presentation, they revealed the new voice of Snake in MGSV. He's rather famous don't you know?!

In other news: Disney confirmed a new play set for Disney Infinity, there's more details on Dying Light, and Daylight has been confirmed for PS4.

There's the usual glut of asset drops as publishers aim to get eyes on their wares in the run-up to the busiest week of the gaming year. There's screens for Company of Heroes 2, Arma 3 and Lost Planet 3, and new trailers for Thief and Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 (actually, there's loads of new videos, so head over to GRTV to have a look and see if there's something there that tickles your fancy).

Speaking of GRTV, the team has been busy clearing the way for E3 and there's a load of new interviews on the site today and tomorrow. Check out Tiny Brains which is heading to PS4, and we talk to Full Control about Space Hulk.

There's some Deus Ex: The Fall gameplay, which nicely compliments the preview and Interview that landed on the site today. And last but not least, there's the small business of our review of free-to-play action-RPG Marvel Heroes. That should keep you off the streets and away from trouble for a while.

Next week we'll be up to our ears in E3 related content, so keep checking the site for the latest news and information coming direct from the GR-UK team in L.A. Have a good weekend.
