Originally marked down as a PC release, Zombie Studios' psychological thriller - Daylight - is heading to both PC and Playstation 4 when it releases early next year.

The game is played from a first-person perspective, and via the Unreal Engine 4, will take players through a procedurally generated abandoned hospital. Players will have only the light from their mobile phone to guide them as they traipse up and down haunted corridors, in a game written by industry vet Jessica Chobot (who also provides the voice of the protagonist).

Jared Gerritzen, studio director at Zombie Studios, stated: "Since showing off a pre-alpha build of Daylight at PAX East the attention on the project has grown tremendously! With the gained attention, we were approached with the opportunity to partner with Atlus to help release Daylight worldwide on Steam and exclusively to the PlayStation 4 system."
