The Swedish streamer Felix "PewDiePie" Kjellberg was one of the first YouTubers to really get a big audience, becoming mainstream, and back in 2016, the renown magazine Time even went as far as naming him one of "The World's 100 Most Influential People". He has had his ups and downs with several controversies but has still been able to continuously increase his number of subscribers, and now Forbeshas reported on the fact that he has hit an unbelievable milestone.
PewDiePie has surpassed 100 million subscribers on Youtube, something that the video service celebrated on Twitter and wrote:
"Married to @marziapie
Revived our love of Minecraft
Reached 100 million subscribers on YouTube
What a month to celebrate and congratulate @PewDiePie"
He is the first solo creator to reach this number and no one else even comes close, as 5-Minutes Crafts is number two and has 60 million subscribers. Are you a PewDiePie subscriber?
