While the later movies in the iconic, groundbreaking franchise Star Wars, have been well-received, fans of the older movies have been begging for prolific actor Ewan McGregor to reprise his role as Obi-Wan Kenobi for many years. Now, in the year of 2019, the actor has signed on for a Star Wars project according to sources. The actor hasn't been spotted in a Star Wars movie since the prequel films aired in the early to mid-2000s and while his portrayal of the Jedi master hasn't been the only character to have fans begging for a return, he's certainly been the most prolific one.
While the signing hasn't been officially announced, it wouldn't be unheard of.
