Is the next Plants vs. Zombies called Battle for Neighborville?

The folks over at EA have shown that they aren't too fond of conventional numbering, and it seems like we won't see Garden Warfare 3 either.

It has been six months since EA confirmed that a new triple-A Plants vs. Zombies game was in the works and slated to be released before next April. The large majority of players around the world obviously thought it would be Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 3, but that might not be the case.

Electronic Arts has trademarked the title Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville here in Europe, so it seems like the publisher had a very good reason for just using the codename Picnic for the NDA-ed Plants vs. Zombies' alpha test they've been having, despite it sounding very similar to the Garden Warfare games. Still, trademarks are some times just filed as a kind of insurance, so there's a small chance of it having another name when EA finally unveils it to the world.

What do you think about the name? Why do you think EA might drop Garden Warfare?
