It was only last week that popular Fortnite streamer Tyler 'Ninja' Blevins revealed that he was departing Twitch to stream exclusively on Microsoft's platform Mixer, and now he's announced that his channel has already hit a million subscribers in less than a week, meaning he's the most-followed channel on the platform, ahead of TheGrefg and Xbox itself (thanks, Social Blade).
This has also had a knock-on effect for Mixer itself as well, since we reported earlier this week that its popularity has skyrocketed since Ninja's announcement, resulting in a major increase in downloads for the app, so it's certainly a big deal for both the streamer and Microsoft, one that's rumoured to have cost the latter $50 million.
