Valve is also teasing an "experiment" incoming as well, although we can expect more news on it soon.

Valve first released Steam's new Interactive Recommender a few weeks ago, in an effort to find users new and exciting games they might enjoy by analysing purchases and patterns. Recently, however, Valve released an update on the system, saying that "we've heard from many of you that the Interactive Recommender is helping you find interesting games, and we also see this reflected in our early data."

"Our initial data show the Interactive Recommender is performing very well by those measures. We do of course take these signs with a grain of salt, given the novelty of our experiment likely make for an unfair comparison. Next up, we will work to evaluate the recommender in ways to eliminate that bias," Valve continues.

As part of the updates coming to the feature, users will find a new 'exclude' ability that will allow you to take recently-played games off the recommended lists. On top of this, a host of new user interface improvements are incoming, and the Always Training feature is getting a little update in the way it processes new releases and player behaviour patterns.

As for the potential experiment Valve has been teasing, we're not too sure what this may involve. "As we're looking at next steps for our fledgling experiments, we are also embarking on a fourth, which we're excited to share with you soon," the post teases.

What do you think Valve has planned for Steam?

Thanks, PC Gamer.
