It would seem publishers are thinking ahead to make sure their announcements aren't drowned out by the noise of the next-gen heavy hitters at E3 next week. This means we've been getting some rather substantial announcements ahead of time.

Microsoft had two announcements - Halo: Spartan Assault for Windows 8 and Windows Phone platforms and Fable Anniversary that's coming to Xbox 360 this fall. Disney and Harmonix announced Fantasia: Music Evolved for Xbox 360 and Xbox One (official trailer). Zoink Games officially revealed their Stick It To The Man! on PS3 and PS Vita.

In the teaser category we find Telltale Games hinting at a character that looks like he belongs in season two of The Walking Dead and Eidos Montreal hinting at a reveal of something called Deus Ex: The Fall.

In other news the the first PES 2014 screens were released and Zynga announced significant layoffs and studio closures. More positives news was coming out of Kickstarter as Double Fine's Massive Chalice was funded.

On GRTV there is an interview on The Evil Within with Bethesda's Pete Hines and Jason Bergman and a behind the scenes look at Austin Wintory as he conducts the Leisure Suit Larry Reloaded score.

Fable Anniversary - a classic returns nine years after its release. This time on Xbox 360.
