The news that there's a class-action lawsuit currently being made against Nintendo due to 'drift' issues with the Joy-Con controllers has been a noteworthy story for the industry over the past few days. Ever since the launch of the Switch, some players have been suffering with their controllers moving without input - i.e. drifting - an issue Nintendo has not resolved until now.

The lawsuit made against the company has caused stocks to fall 3% since the day it was filed on Friday, resulting in Nintendo issuing a statement in response to consumer problems. The statement, which was sent out to outlets like Polygon, went as follows:

"At Nintendo, we take great pride in creating quality products and we are continuously making improvements to them. We are aware of recent reports that some Joy-Con controllers are not responding correctly. We want our consumers to have fun with Nintendo Switch, and if anything falls short of this goal we always encourage them to visit https://www.nintendo.com/consumer/assets/region_select.jsp so we can help."

Ever since this statement has been issued (and bear in mind that Nintendo has "nothing to announce on [the] topic" of the class-action lawsuit), the front page of Nintendo's customer support website has been updated with a direct link to Joy-Con repair (before it was simply a troubleshooting page), where users can start the process of getting their controllers fixed. Do you think this response is enough?
