Tragedy struck Thursday as Oculus Rift co-founder Andrew Reisse was struck dead by a car involved in a police chase. The 33 year-old developer was an innocent bystander.
The folks over at Oculus Rift have posted an "in memorian" at their blog: "Andrew was a brilliant computer graphics engineer, an avid photographer (you can find examples of his photographs here) and hiker who loved nature, and a loyal friend. Andrew was unique in so many interesting ways. He was extraordinarily kind and utterly selfless. He was a mentor and an inspiration to everyone around him." Our thoughts extend to the family of Reisse, his friends and co-workers.
