Bernie Sanders, the U.S. Senator and presidential hopeful, has just launched his own Twitch channel, although we doubt it's because he's planning on revealing a secret love for League of Legends.
"We're moving toward doing a lot more live content on Twitch, YouTube, and Facebook, tapping into an audience where there's not a lot of political content already," digital comms man Josh Miller-Lewis told Recode.
While we're pretty sure there's plenty of politics all over Facebook and YouTube, Twitch has largely drawn in large crowds of streamers and even larger crowds of people happy to watch them do their thing. The question is, will Sanders' move onto the platform see more politicians looking to more digitally connected platforms in order to reach younger voters?
