Since E3 last year, Xbox Game Studios has grown. A lot. Microsoft has both founded new studios as well as acquiring existing ones like Obsidian, Ninja Theory and Double Fine and they have stated that they're not done yet several times.
The Xbox head honcho Phil Spencer evenspecifically said that he would like to buy a Japanese developer just two months ago. With Gamescom just around the corner (it starts next week), it seems like there just might be some new announcements on studio purchases once again.
This time, it is the fairly know insider Klobrille - who has revealed things about Xbox several times before - who had the following to say on Twitter:
"I have good reasons to believe that there will be at the very least one more studio addition to XGS in 2019."
