The Computex event has been used to launch a lot of new things, and while the Ryzen 3000 series from AMD is interesting, Dell has released information on the new XPS 15 15.6" laptop with 9th gen Intel CPU and OLED display as well.

The machine seems targeted at creators, boasting a GTX 1650 graphics card from Nvidia, and customers can get a 4K touch display or a 4K OLED display with 100% DCI-P3 colour range and a contrast ratio of 100,000:1.

The display will be a thin bezel (InfinityEdge) and Dell has managed to get the webcam inside this. Corning Gorilla Glass 4 is also being used, while the chassis is composed of aluminium and carbon fiber.

On top of that we have Killer AX1650 WiFi 6, up to 64GB of RAM, and up to 2TB PCIe SSD. The WiFi is apparently three times faster than regular 802.11ac, and an optional fingerprint reader in the power button can be used for added security. Thunderbolt 3, HDMI, and a full size DisplayPort are also to be expected.

Dell also claims we can expect over 20 hours of battery life from the (optional) 97 WHr battery, and prices start at $999 USD, with more expensive variants around. Weight depends on options and configurations, but it sits between 1.8kg and 2.0 kg.

Is this looking impressive?
