Knights of the Old Republic is considered by many to be one of the best Star Wars games around, and now BuzzFeed News claims that they've heard from three sources that a film based on the game is being written by Laeta Kalogridis for Lucasfilm.
Kalogridis has worked on Avatar, Shutter Island, and Terminator Genisys in the past, and these three sources are allegedly close to the project. We had hints that something related to KOTOR was coming back in April too, as Lucasfilm's president Kathleen Kennedy told MTV that "we are developing something to look at" when asked about the game.
The same report claims Kalogridis is close to finishing the first script for what might be a KOTOR trilogy, after being hired in the spring of last year to help develop the project.
Earlier this month we found out that three new Star Wars films have been dated, after Disney unveiled a packed release schedule for years to come, and that of course includes whatever Game of Thrones writers David Benioff and DB Weiss are working on.
What do you want from a KOTOR film?
