There's a new rumour circulating, originally reported by French website 01net, that the memory in Sony's Next Generation Portable has been cut in half from 512 MB to 256. The 16 GB internal memory has supposedly also been dropped, to make room for external memory cards.
The machine should still have 128 MB of video memory, and will support 3G. Remember though that Sony have yet to confirm anything, so until we've heard from them about this chalk this up as a rumour. The NGP is still supposed to be released this year and we can expect to hear and see a lot more from it at E3.
