Nvidia are putting a lot of effort behind their "tablet with controller" console Shield - and have now announced that it will see release next month and they are taking pre-orders on their website ($349).
The price tag is hefty in comparison to the likes of Nintendo 3DS and PS Vita, but then again the Android-based device is also capable of streaming PC games running with the appropriate Nvidia graphics card. However, this feature is only available as beta at launch.
