Do you remember World of Goo? It's a puzzle game that first came our way in 2008, and Tomorrow Corporation has now revealed that the Windows, Mac, and Linux versions are getting an update for the first time in 10 years.
This is pretty much just a "gentle remastering," as the announcement says, so there are no new features, characters, or "battle royale deathmatch mode".
"The framework has been replaced. This is the thing that draws all the graphics onto your screen, and sends all the audio to your speakers, etc. This means the Win / Mac / Linux version should work on modern computers again without freaking out, and you can run the game on modern displays at whatever resolution you want," Tomorrow Corporation explains.
You can now run the game at a hi-def widescreen 16:9 ratio by default, for example, and the resolution of graphics is doubled, although there is an option to use original graphics. Graphical and UI improvements from other platform releases like Nintendo Switch are here now too, and the blog post gives details on how to download the game for the first time.
