The Halo TV series is slowly gathering momentum, as back in February we reported on a new director being found for the project, with Otto Bathurst set to direct the pilot and a few other episodes in the Showtime series, and now VG247 reports on some more details coming out of the Reboot Develop event in Dubrovnik, Croatia.

343 executive producer Kiki Wolfkill talked about the series during a panel, with one of the big priorities being to respecting the canon, although not if it doesn't make sense.

"There are some details that we may shift, but we want to respect the fans and what they love about the IP," Wolfkill said when talking about Master Chief showing his face, although we didn't get a solid answer on whether or not that'll happen. "There are occasions where he showers," however.

Wolfkill later added that "we may shift dates, locations, or ethnicity of characters," depending on what happens with the series.

What are your hopes for the series?
