Job listings can so often give us an insight into what a studio is working on, and now a recent role at Guerrilla Games has emerged online, as shared on ResetEra. This is for an "unannounced title", and the team at the studio are looking for a Java Developer to help Guerrilla game director Simon Larouche.

In terms of responsibilities, this is where the key information lies, as we find out here that it's a multiplayer title with "matchmaking, tournaments, clans and leaderboards," with the candidate required to build a "robust backend that can scale up to serve many concurrent users." This system will also be needed to integrate with PlayStation Network and other services.

Guerrilla has developed the Killzone games in the past, so that wouldn't be an unrealistic prediction, but we'll have to wait and see regarding an official confirmation on what Larouche and his team are working on. With Larouche working on Rainbow Six: Siege in the past though, it seems like the project is in good hands.

What could it be?
