Take a look at this Nintendo 64-inspired Switch dock

Hyperkin has provided this throwback dock reminiscent of the old console, which can even act as a charging stand as well as a dock.

Nintendo has been through quite a lot of hardware over the years, and they're not afraid to look back at it either. After all, last year we found out about NES controllers available for the Nintendo Switch, and then of course we have the SNES and NES mini consoles pre-loaded with games. What about the Nintendo 64 though?

If you've been missing the console that hosted the likes of Banjo-Kazooie and Super Mario 64, then Hyperkin's latest product might just be the blast from the past that you need, as they've revealed the RetroN S64 Console Dock for Switch, which basically looks a lot like the old console.

This includes the model you can see in the pictures below, featuring a Type-C port, three USB ports, and an HD port, and there's even a toggle button to switch from TV mode to charging mode. That said, the Type-C and HD cables aren't included, and neither is the power source.

Essentially this acts like a stand as well, presumably, since you can stand the Switch up and the screen is still visible, meaning you can play it on the go as well as using it like a traditional dock, which is a neat little feature.

Will you be getting one?
