Xenoblade developer Monolith Soft is working on a Legend of Zelda game, as revealed by a recruitment page on their website and shared on ResetEra, where we find out that the team are looking for support staff, technical artists, designers, and programmers.

Monolith is no stranger to the Zelda franchise, as the Kyoto branch has assisted with titles including the 2017 game Breath of the Wild, but most recently the company has been known for Xenoblade Chronicles 2, made by the main studio in Tokyo.

The Zelda game is the second production that they're working on aside from the team that's made Xenoblade, and as reported by Japanese Nintendo, the studio is looking for people that can create emotions and surprises.

We don't know any more about the Zelda project other than this, but it's great to get more content in the series. After all, Crypt of the Necrodancer will be bringing the Zelda franchise into their game this spring, as revealed earlier this month.

What do you want from this project?
