This evening Google's keynote at the Game Developer Conference (GDC) finally revealed their long-awaited gaming plans, which is a streaming-based ecosystem called Google Stadia. We've got all of the details in our original report, but there's something we just had to bring to your attention.

During the show it was revealed that Google has teamed up with AMD to make GPUs to power the Stadia technology in their data centers, which powers the high-quality games being brought to your device. These can be used multiple at a time for maximum power, but the important thing here is the stats. Just one of these has 10.7 teraflops of power, and you might remember that unit being thrown around an awful lot by Microsoft when revealing Project Scorpio, which later turned out to be the Xbox One X.

The Xbox One X boasts 6 teraflops of power, and if we look at the PS4 Pro, that has 4.2 This means that a single Stadia GPU has more than the Xbox One X and PS4 Pro combined.

Is this a game changer?
