The upcoming live-action adaptation of Sonic the Hedgehog is a film that's gotten a lot of people talking about its interpretation of the blue icon, and while we've only seen leaked images (like this one from last week) a YouTuber called DreamcastGuy claims to have gotten a look at an upcoming trailer during the editing process, as discussed on the Spawncast podcast.

As detailed on ResetEra DreamcastGuy claims that we'll get a "meaty" look at the film in the 50 seconds the trailer allegedly runs for, and that the leaks don't give a great representation of Sonic's appearance. Robotnik, played by Jim Carrey, won't feature, but we'll see the hero in Green Hills and a cop car with his friend Tom. It should also be coming soon, although nothing more specific than that was given.

Of course this isn't verified and is just a rumour at this point, so take it with a hefty pinch of salt, especially since a lot of Sonic film information coming out these days isn't from official channels anyway, but it wouldn't be surprising to see a trailer since buzz is growing around the title and we're hearing more and more rumours about it.

What do you want to see from a trailer?
