A new report from MCV has brought to our attention a racial equity and inclusion movement in the UK called POC in Play, aimed at people of colour in our industry and described as "an independent force for change, creating a range of initiatives and programme of events designed to increase the visibility and representation of POC in the videogames industry".

The team behind POC in Play is teaming up with ustwo Games to invite people of colour to engage with the initiative using the hashtag #IamPOCinPlay. Adam Campbell of Azoomee and Chella Ramanan of 3-Fold Games founded POC in Play, which also includes Nida Ahmad, Mike ANderson, Jodie Azhar, Des Gayle, and Moo Yu.

"We've gathered a really strong and passionate team, who all share a vision of a more inclusive industry," said co-founder Adam Campbell. "We hold the same passion as other diversity movements in this sector though we aim to add our distinct, long term plan to the table, supported by a landmark strategic studio partnership with ustwo Games designed to enact real change at every level of the industry."

The ustwo Games' London studio will be hosting a networking event at 19:00 GMT on March 22, and more details on this event can be found here.
