Back in December we learned that Rise of the Planet of the Apes director Rupert Wyatt wouldn't be able to direct Showtime's upcoming Halo TV-series after all, but it didn't take too long to find a replacement.
We're now told that Otto Bathurst will be the one directing the pilot and a few other episodes. An interesting choice considering Bathurst's mixed portfolio with the great Black Mirror episode "The National Anthem" and the less than great Robin Hood movie from last year. Still, we like to stay positive and look forward to seeing how the long-awaited series actually will turn out when it hopefully arrives next year.
