Reuben Langdon is an actor and stuntman who has appeared in films such as Pirates of the Caribbean and Avatar, but has also appeared in Devil May Cry and Street Fighter, and we've just learned via Twitter that him and fellow filmmaker Steve Copeland were shot at during the filming of a new documentary project.
The pair had just been to visit Indigenous Dignitaries in Guatemala, including the first Indigenous Ambassador, featured in the film. The tweet mentions that the shooter fired into the car from behind, and if one bullet had been an inch higher it would've hit Langdon in the head. The gunman also attempted to get into the vehicle from the side, and when it was locked they fired more rounds into the side of the vehicle before the pair sped away and escaped unharmed.
"We are blessed and deeply grateful to be alive. This puts an extra layer of importance on the work we are doing," Langdon wrote.
"I know there are forces at play that would rather not see this positive transformation sweep the planet, but this movement is ancient, all-inclusive, and cannot be stopped," Copeland added.
The film they're working on is called Vision of the Ages and is a sequel the Copeland's Shift of the Ages, both of which are focused on Indigenous Prophecy.
