The Initiative is a studio that's certainly worth keeping an eye on, because Microsoft means business, as they're recruiting top developers from across the world to help them on whatever they're working on, as demonstrated by the big batch of recruitments discovered last month from the likes of Sledgehammer, Crystal Dynamics, and elsewhere.
Now we know another name to add to the talent list at The Initiative though, as Victoria Miller's LinkedIn page shows that she joined the studio last month. Miller has worked as "Producer International Software Development" for Sony since 2011, and the list of titles she has helped ship is impressive, including Until Dawn and Detroit: Become Human. She's also worked as an Associate Producer at Double Helix Games and Assistant Producer at LucasArts in a career that stretches back over a decade.
Her bio also adds that she is a "game producer and writer with 10 years of experience in building and fostering international cross-functional relationships."
The list of talented individuals at the studio is certainly growing still, as back in November we found out that Sunset Overdrive's director Drew Murray had been recruited, so we'd say we still haven't seen the last of The Initiative and its new employees.
What do you want them to be working on?
Thanks, GamingBolt.
