The rumoured, unannounced first-person shooter by Creative Assembly has officially been confirmed as in development by the Total War and Alien: Isolation studio. Neill Blomkamp (director, District 9) visited the developer to get a glimpse of what the team has been working on and as posted by Creative Assembly to the official studio Twitter account, the game in development is the new FPS IP previously hinted at in a job listing on the Creative Assembly site.

Blomkamp took to Twitter to type out a few lines himself, calling the FPS "Extremely cool" with an "amazing core concept". While we know the upcoming game is not a sequel to the spine-chilling Alien: Isolation, we've seen what the developer can do with a first person perspective and with Blomkamp, who's had some Alien experience of his own, albeit a cancelled project, on board it'll be interesting to see what they can cook up.
