Microsoft have opened a new studio in Vancouver and just recently launched the website of the aptly named MGS Vancouver. The first project MGS Vancouver are working on is a triple A project for Kinect.
Vancouver and British Colombia has been a hothead for game development for many years, but lately the region has been hit with numerous studio closures and cutbacks, so there is undoubtedly talent available for Microsoft as they look for people to fill their many open positions.
