Last year, we told you this funny story about Guerrilla Games offering Hideo Kojima their Decima Engine (Horizon: Zero Dawn) after he visited their offices. As when Kojima created his own studio a few years ago, he had no game engine on hand to begin his projects. Hermen Hulst gave him the studio's engine so he could start working immediately.
Hideo Kojima did not forget this gesture of kindness, and that's why he returned to Amsterdam, in the offices of Guerrilla Games: to reveal the first two hours of Death Stranding, his next big game of which we do know almost nothing (and which according to the rumours is still not finished).
"Three years ago we gave @KojiPro2015_EN a copy of our @DecimaEngine in this box. Today @HIDEO_KOJIMA_EN came back to @Guerrilla to show us the incredible things he's making with it in #DeathStranding. So impressed!" wrote Guerrilla boss Hermen Hulst on his Twitter account.
No official release date has been shared yet, although some rumours suggest that Death Stranding will be ready by the end of the year.
