Fast & Furious spinoff Hobbs and Shaw gets new image

All three leads look just about the right level of masculine and serious we'd expect from a film of this sort.

It's been a long road for the Fast & Furious franchise, as they've been speeding into hot pursuit and wicked stunts since 2001, still staying on the road almost two decades later. Even though the main franchise is far from written off, we are getting a spinoff called Hobbs and Shaw this year.

It might sound like a buddy cop film, but really this is Dwayne Johnson's character Luke Hobbs and Jason Statham' character Deckard Shaw teaming up against the evil Idris Elba, or rather his character Brixton.

Sounds like a hypermasculine matchup right? Indeed it does, and we've got more evidence to prove it from the most recent image of the film that Johnson shared on his Instagram feed. As you can see, everyone looks serious and intimidating, and that's just what we want to see from the Fast & Furious boys.

Will this spinoff be any good though?
