240 Hz displays are the new black at CES - and this goes for HP Omen as well. Their new Omen 15 features a 240Hz TN Panel, 1080p G-sync to match the RTX2070 Max-Q graphics cards, Intel i7-8750H processor, 16 GB RAM, Thunderbolt 3 and even the new 802.11ax standard for Wifi, all crammed into a unit that comes in at 2.4 kg.

It looks to retain the same discrete lines with a fairly thin bezel as the previous model, but pricing is currently unavailable. We do know that it hits stores in July.

There is also a cheaper alternative in the 60Hz IPS panel model that will most likely hit the 1600-1800 euro mark. Some media reports on a 240HZ IPS panel, however, at Gamereactor we find it a lot more likely to be a TN panel.

It ships with a 1TB SATA hard drive, and a 120 GB M.2 SSD drive. HP promises easy upgradability for both RAM and hard drives.
