If you're tired of FIFA and Pro Evolution Soccer, this certainly adds something different to the beautiful game, like gangly limbs.

Just before the weekend Xbox figure Larry 'Major Nelson' Hryb tweeted that Eclipse Games' arcade-inspired football title Legendary Eleven has now been launched on Xbox One, having been released for both PC and Switch last year to offer a more casual approach to football.

The developers say that this game is "inspired by the golden age" of the sport, which according to them was "spanning the 70's to the 90's", an era that obviously included "glorious haircuts, moustaches and legends in short shorts".

The gameplay is over the top with spectacular matches, and there is a campaign included as well as versus modes both locally and online. There are 36 teams to choose from, and you can aim for World Cup glory if you really want.

Legendary Eleven is roughly 1 GB in size and priced at £11.99 ( €14.99), so if it's caught your interest, be sure to head this way for the store page.

Is this getting downloaded straight away?
