It's that time again. Time to cry over spilt milk. The game you never knew you wanted - Starpower: Beyoncé - was cancelled just prior to Christmas and according to developer Gate Five the reason for this was that the star jockeyed for a better deal. Now Gate Five are suing the bootlicious actress and artist for $100 million in lost profits.

"Though she had already negotiated lavish compensation terms to which she was contractually bound, at a critical moment in the project's development she made an extortionate demand for entirely new compensation terms she wanted," Gate Five tells New York Magazine.

This meant that the studio lost its financial backing and 70 people lost their jobs one week prior to Christmas. Gate Five are looking for direct damages of around $7 million along with lost profits totalling $100 million.

Seems like greed may prove costly if Gate Five are successful in their lawsuit.
