When one thinks of game engines, Frostbite is one that comes to mind instantly, as it's the powerful system that enables EA games like FIFA and Battlefield to shine in all their glory, and now we might be seeing the Nintendo Switch support this engine of theirs.
YouTube channel Doctre81 recently shared a video (as shared again on ResetEra) in which a LinkedIn profile from an EA Software Engineer was shown, saying that they're helping to integrate Software Development Kits (SDKs) for the Nintendo Switch. That said, Frostbite isn't specifically mentioned by name, so that fact is still speculation, although it'd make sense considering the popularity of the Frostbite games and the fact that this same person has worked on the likes of Battlefield.
So all of this is still rumoured and should be taken with a pinch of salt, but considering how little we've seen from EA on the Switch - FIFA being the biggest name, having come onto the console with the last two iterations - it might make sense moving forwards.
What EA games would you like to see on Switch?
