Yesterday we reported that the world had just received its first look at Sonic in the new film via a poster, and while we only got a brief look at the outline of the blue hedgehog, the internet went into a bit of a spin in the corners where Sonic fans like to dwell.
Everything from the leg muscles to the hair is being talked about, similar to the situation we had when Henry Cavill made his first steps at Geralt for the upcoming Witcher series, and now writer Patrick Casey has chimed in with the discussion, using a succinct tweet to say:
"Everybody relax"
If past instances on the internet are anything to go by, telling people to relax might be like adding gasoline to a bonfire, but it should be said that the film is still very early on and that we haven't seen a full image just yet, so it'd be wise to save judgment until we have quite literally the full picture.
