Update: The official CS:GO Twitter page has congratulated those who found the secrets, but said: "Congrats to all who have found our Portal Easter egg on dz_blacksite! We're just having a bit of fun and the Easter egg is not a product announcement. Enjoy Danger Zone!" Even Gabe Newell confirmed it himself in an email.

So by now CS:GO fans may know that the game has gone free-to-play and added battle royale mode Danger Zone, and now PCGamesN reports that there are some strange happenings in the new mode, as secrets are there to be discovered.

The map Black Site has a building with numbered rooms, with number three boarded up, but if you go to a nearby room you can actually access it that way. Inside, as noted by YouTuber snaileny, there are a number of computers, with various noises emanating from the area. It's a code of sorts, and Valve News Network (not associated with Valve in any official way) is currently investigating what's happening.

Among the discoveries we find that surveillance cameras on this map point to a sinking ship and there are hidden textures in the game files, but what this all means is still a mystery. Either way though, we're sure a lot of fans are interested in not only the solution to this riddle, but what it could point to.

What could it mean?
