Eugen Systems are set to launch Wargame: AirLand Battle, a real-time strategy game set during the Cold War, next month. As release draws ever closer we're getting to see more of the game, and the latest screens to be released show off German units, but from both sides (the Federal Republic of Germany and the German Democratic Republic) of the divided country.

The game is set in Scandinavia, allows for impressive detail thanks to topography reproduced from satellite maps via the IRISZOOM Engine, and as you can see from the attached screens it will feature the following units; the F-104G "Starfighter", the Panavia Tornado, variants of the T-72 main battle tank, the Mig-17, and variants of the Mig-21.
