And the hits just keep on coming for Epic (Unreal, Gears of War) as the studio has confirmed that its free-to-play battle royale monster Fortnite has hit another seemingly impossible milestone by reaching 200 million registered players - that's more than five times the number of users that Epic reported at the beginning of the year and a 60% jump compared to the 125 million confirmed in June. With such a huge number of active users, it's no surprise to hear that Epic is now valued at around $15 billion after attracting considerable investment in the wake Fortnite's staggering success.
